Brimstone Howl are clearly smarter and more talented than that, and a healthy percentage of We Came in Peace works despite the lyrics (Ziegler's vocal delivery helps), but if this band is going to make the great album they may well have in them, they really need to find a better wordsmith before they head into the studio again.

Brimstone Howl is a Mid-West foursome described by NME as "Beatles-headed psych-nerds with a taste for razor sharp snake-rock". We Came In Peace" is the follow-up to "Guts Of Steel" (Alive 2007) an album hailed as "unholy hot-wiring of the Sonics, the Damned and the Blues Explosion" (Magnet) and "cranked lo-fi blues rock from Nebraska's hoodlums" (Uncut)
Brimstone Howl Brimstone Howl is a punk blues band based in Omaha, Nebraska. They are often called "garage rock", although the band members themselves reject the term. The band formed in 2002 as Caesar the Greaser, and became The Zyklon Bees in 2004. In May 2005 the band changed their name to Brimstone Howl. It marks Brimstone Howl's final truncated stage of quasi-maturity as a musical enterprise. Finally departing slightly from the confines of the lo-fi garage scheme (but never fully, for who would want to?), the band was able to preserve their better inclinations here for posterity, and for you. We hope you enjoy. This is the first time Magic Hour has been offered in a digital format.
