The Flatmates, part of the mid-1980s British indie pop boom, were part of The Subway Organization, a Bristol record label formed by Martin Whitehead, who was also guitarist and main songwriter for the band. Following the band's formation in 1985, singles such as "I Could Be in Heaven", "Happy All the Time" and "Shimmer" established the band as a successful indie band, but the Flatmates disbanded in early 1989 before releasing a proper studio album.

Album Made in Heaven. Heaven for Everyone Lyrics. This could be heaven This could be heaven This could be heaven for everyone. In these days of cool reflection You come to me and everything seems alright In these days of cold affections You sit by me and everything's fine. You know that This could be heaven for everyone This could be heaven for everyone. Listen, what people do to other souls They take their lives - destroy their goals Their basic pride and dignity Is stripped and torn and shown no pity When this should be heaven for everyone. About Heaven for Everyone. Heaven For Everyone first was written by drummer Roger Taylor circa 1986-1987.
