Duncan Browne (25 March 1947 - 28 May 1993) was a singer-songwriter from England whose début album "Give Me, Take You", a melancholy baroque folk album often compared to Nick Drake's albums, was released on Andrew Loog Oldham's Immediate label in 1968. Together with two other ts, Peter Godwin and Sean Lyons, Browne formed the band Metro whose debut ('Metro') was released in the late '70s on the Transatlantic label.

The Wild Places is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter and musician Duncan Browne. Released in 1978 through Logo and Sire Records, it is Browne's first solo album since his departure from the band Metro that year, and features contributions from session musicians Tony Hymas, John Giblin and Simon Phillips. In contrast to his previous self-titled solo record, the sound of the album is fully electric and ranges from progressive rock to straightforward rock music and synthpop.

Duncan John Browne (25 March 1947 - 28 May 1993) was an English singer-songwriter. Browne attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, studying both music theory and drama. He chose to become a musician when, in 1967, he met Andrew Loog Oldham, and signed with his Immediate Records label. His debut album Give Me, Take You was issued in 1968. His choral arrangement was used on the Tim Hardin penned "Hang On to a Dream" on the album Nice, as recorded by The Nice in 1969

Give Me Take You. Alfred Bell. Sadly, though, Journey was to be Duncan Browne’s only real chart success in the course of a musical career which lasted from the late 1960s until his untimely death, at the age of only 46, in May 1993. It appeared on his second self-titled album which was first released in 1973. His musical gifts had, however, been apparent from an early age and eventually led to his studying music theory and drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
