Kimberly "Kim" Richey is an American singer and songwriter. Richey came onto the music scene in the 1990s and entered her first recording contract at the age of 37. Her songs have been recorded by Trisha Yearwood ("Believe Me Baby (I Lied)"), Radney Foster ("Nobody Wins"), and Brooks & Dunn ("Every River"). Her 1995 self-titled debut album was produced by Richard Bennett. It contained the singles "Just My Luck" and "Those Words We Said.

She says she got the idea for the album - and its title track - from reading a James Bond novel. was describing one of the characters as 'a nest of Chinese boxes,' and he said the most interesting thing about that was lifting off the lid and finding the next box and getting to the center," Richey says. And maybe the center wasn't quite as interesting as the trip to the center, but that was what made it all worthwhile, was just trying to get to that place
We Rise is the debut studio album by New Zealand metal band Devilskin. It was released in 2014 and debuted at on the New Zealand charts and went platinum in 2015. The songs on the album were written by the band over a period of several years. Before the recordings, the band spent some time with producer Clint Murphy. Recording for the album took place over three weeks at the York St Studios in Auckland, New Zealand.
