Hiroshi Kitadani (きただに ひろし Kitadani Hiroshi, born August 24, 1968) is a Japanese singer, who primarily performs theme songs and other songs in anime. He also works behind the scenes of many songs. He currently works with JAM Project. He is most famous for singing the first, fifteenth, nineteenth and twenty-second opening themes of the popular anime series One Piece.

This album consists of showcases for five of the greatest talents of the pedal steel - Buddy Emmons, Jay Dee Maness, Red Rhodes, Sneaky Pete Kleinow and Rusty Young.

Steel guitar is a type of guitar or the method of playing the instrument. Developed in Hawaii by Joseph Kekuku in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a steel guitar is usually positioned horizontally; strings are plucked with one hand, while the other hand changes the pitch of one or more strings with the use of a bar or slide called a steel (generally made of metal, but also of glass or other materials).

The pedal steel guitar is a console-type of steel guitar with pedals and levers added to enable playing more varied and complex music which had not been possible with antecedent steel guitar designs. Pedal steel is most commonly associated with American country music.
