Calm down And get straight It's in our eyes It's how we operate. You're true You are I'd apologize but it won't go very far. Please come here Come right on over And when we collide we'll see what gets left over. A little joy A little sorrow And a little pride so we won't have to borrow Wherever you lead, I'll follow

Gomez: 'How We Operate' Members of the British pop band Gomez pride themselves on the collaborative way they create songs. Gomez: 'How We Operate'.
Gomez are an English indie rock band from Southport, comprising Ian Ball (vocals, guitar), Paul "Blackie" Blackburn (bass), Tom Gray (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Ben Ottewell (vocals, guitars) and Olly Peacock (drums, synths, computers). The band has three singers and four songwriters, employing traditional and electronic instruments. Their music covers the genres blues, indie, alternative, rock, folk, psychedelic and experimental.
How We Operate is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Gomez, which was released in May 2006. The album was produced by Gil Norton and was recorded at RAK Studios, London. The band have again adopted the more minimalist and mellow sound for which they are famed and acclaimed. See the World" – 4:03. How We Operate" – 5:26.
Gomez, How We Operate. Like their Mercury-nominated debut, Bring It On, How We Operate is a pop album that sounds as if the band have left the studio and gone outside for some fresh air. A warm breeze of country-inspired rhythms blows through every song (each charting choppy-relationship waters), their restrained blues only sharpening the hip-wiggling stomps and uncluttered melodies. Though the ever-changing rhythms of All Too Much and Cry on Demand are cumbersome, this is Gomez edging their way back to their best.
