War is the third album by funk group War, or their first following the departure of singer Eric Burdon and the group's name change from the original: Eric Burdon and War. It was released in April 1971 on United Artists Records, their first for the label. The album did not gain much attention upon release, but sales and critical acclaim picked up after their subsequent hit albums throughout the 1970s, the next appearing later in 1971.

Winds of War is the second album by the German speed metal band Iron Angel, released in June 1986. It was the band's last album until the 2018 release of Hellbound. The 2004 and 2014 re-issues contains a live recorded performance from Warpke, Germany on 20 July 1985 during the Hellish Crossfire tour. Dirk Schroder - vocals. Peter Wittke - guitars. Sven Struven - guitars. Thorsten Lohmann - bass. Mike Matthes - drums. Jürgen Blackmore - guitars on "Sea of Flames".

For the term for World War I, see The war to end war. War to End All Wars. Studio album by Yngwie Malmsteen. 7 November 2000 (2000-11-07). While on tour for this album, singer Mark Boals left the band and was replaced for a brief period by Jorn Lande; however, Boals returned to finish the tour. The instrumental song "Molto Arpeggiosa" is often mislabelled as "Arpeggios from Hell". The phrase "the war to end all wars" was historically used as a description of World War I, especially in the period from 1918 to 1939.

2017 studio album by Exo. The War. Korean version digital cover artwork.

The War is the fourth studio album by South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo. It was released digitally on July 18, 2017 and physically on July 19, 2017 by SM Entertainment under Genie Music's distribution. The album includes a total of nine tracks including the lead single "Ko Ko Bop".

The conceptual album will cover stories inspired by the First World War. As part of the creative process, the band started their sessions on Nov. 11, 2018, exactly 100 years after the end of the First World War, which came to its conclusion on Nov. 11, 1918. The band worked closely with producer Jonas Kjellgren at Black Lounge Studios to fully realize their vision.
