Sammich later re-issued Soul Side's debut album onto CD for the first time in 2004. The band's Dischord releases were culled onto one CD, "Soon Come Happy", released in 1990 and re-mastered in 2003. Rain Like The Sound Of Trains.

It includes the Trigger LP, the Sun 7" single, and the Hot Bodi-Gram EP. For anyone interested in the roots of bands like Fugazi, Jawbox, and Girls Against Boys, then this one is a must-have.

Hot Bodi-Gram LP (Dischord, 1989). Soon Come Happy CD (Dischord, 1990) (Note: a compilation of Trigger, Bass 103, and Hot Bodi-Gram. Soulside, also spelled Soul Side, was a post-hardcore band from the greater Washington, . The original name of the band was Lunchmeat, formed in 1985. The name was changed to Soulside in spring 1986 and they disbanded in summer of 1989, after an extensive European tour and recording the definitive Hot Bodi-Gram. The group's sound could be described as clean, heavy, and warm, with lyrics focused on politics. Of Soulside's four members, three (Scott McCloud, Johnny Temple, and Alexis Fleisig) went on to form the post-hardcore band Girls Against Boys at the end of the 1980s.

Soul music combines traditional American gospel and rhythm & blues (R&B) style, collecting catchy hooks, heavy improvisation and a tense vocal sound. The music has become synonymous around the world with "funk" as well as deep emotional expression.
