Lush is the debut studio album by American indie rock musician Snail Mail, released on June 8, 2018 through Matador Records. The album was produced by Jake Aron. Three singles preceded the release of the album: "Pristine", "Heat Wave", and "Let's Find an Out". Lush was nominated for Best Rock Album at the Libera Awards.
Snail Mail’s striking debut album is emotionally wise, musically clear, and encompasses the once and future sound of indie rock. With Lush, Jordan earns her place as a leader in the next generation of indie rock, the ones who are keeping the genre’s honorable ideals alight while continuing to expand its purview beyond straight white dudes. She was born in June 1999, the same month Napster started, and by the time she was in her early teens, the once-sturdy walls that separated mainstream and underground music were all but rubble.

Snail Mail, aka Baltimore singer/songwriter Lindsey Jordan, has announced her debut album. On June 8, she’ll release Lush via Matador. The first single from the album is Pristine, which you can stream below. Jordan is also going on tour for the better part of the year, including dates with Belle and Sebastian and Japanese Breakfast. Snail Mail‘s Lush album is finally here, released via Matador. The new LP - led by early singles Pristine, Heat Wave, and Let’s Find An Out - from Lindsey Jordan has social media claiming the album is already one of the best projects of 2018. Lush is the debut LP from the solo indie pop project of the Baltimore-raised, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter. The 10-track LP, which follows Jordan’s 2017 Habit EP, features no guest appearances and will certainly land Snail Mail as one of the new faces of rock.
